Sensex down 56pts; Grasim, Hindalco shine

The Sensex is now down 56 points at 10,874.

Grasim and Hindalco have gained 2% each at Rs 2,040 and Rs 183, respectively. ONGC has added 1.8% to Rs 1,141.

ACC and Gujarat Ambuja are up 1% each at Rs 844 and Rs 110, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and Wipro have dropped 2% each to Rs 375 and Rs 507, respectively. Hero Honda has slipped 1.9% to Rs 711.

Reliance has declined 1.7% to Rs 1,080. HDFC, Maruti and HDFC Bank are down 1.5% each at Rs 1,185, Rs 802 and Rs 754, respectively.

Out of 1,932 stocks traded so far, 1,039 have advanced, 810 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
