Sensex down 57pts; Reliance Energy soars 5%

The Sensex is now down 57 points at 15,737.

ACC has plunged 4% to Rs 1,077. Grasim has shed 2% at Rs 2,965.

Satyam has dropped 3.5% to Rs 500. Bajaj Auto and HDFC Bank have slipped over 2% each to Rs 2,400 and Rs 1,224, respectively.

BHEL, Cipla, HDFC Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Hero Honda, Tata Motors and TCS are down 1-2% each.

ITC has zoomed nearly 8% to Rs 164. Reliance Energy has soared 5% to Rs 813.

Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever, NTPC and ONGC are up 1-2% each.
