Sensex down 57pts; Tata Motors slips 2%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 57 points at 10,356.

Cipla and HDFC Bank have rallied 2.7% each to Rs 761 and Rs 233, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja has gained 1.5% at Rs 97.35. Reliance, Ranbaxy and Bharti Airtel are up over 1% each at Rs 1,018, Rs 395 and Rs 370, respectively.

Tata Motors has dropped 2% to Rs 760. ICICI Bank and HDFC have declined 1.7% each to Rs 499 and Rs 1,085, respectively.

ONGC has shed 1.5% to Rs 1,097. Wipro, Bajaj Auto, TCS, RCoVL and Maruti are down over 1% each at Rs 469, Rs 2,674, Rs 1,683, Rs 250 and Rs 768, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,122 stocks traded so far, 1,274 have declined, 789 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
