Sensex down 58pts; Satyam sheds 3%

The Sensex is now down 58 points to 13,614.

ACC has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 786. Satyam has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 446.

Bajaj Auto, BHEL, HDFC and Infosys have slipped around 2% each to Rs 2,442, Rs 2,501, Rs 1,562 and Rs 2,038, respectively.

Tata Motors has dropped 1.7% to Rs 709. Tata Steel and Wipro are down around 1.5% each to Rs 504 and Rs 578, respectively.

SBI has soared 1.8% to Rs 1,054, and ITC has gained 1.4% at Rs 159.

Out of 2,550 stocks traded so far, 1,391 have declined, 1,076 have advanced and 83 are unchanged.
