Sensex down 59pts

The Sensex after staging a recovery to 9435 has slipped back into the negative zone. The index is now down 59 points at 9386.

Infosys has partially recovered from the day's low of Rs 2,760, but still continues to trade with a huge loss of 4.2% (Rs 126) at Rs 2,849.

Reliance is down 0.5% at Rs 889.

Ranbaxy has slipped 2% to Rs 386.

TCS, HDFC, ONGC and Satyam have declined 1% each.

Maruti is up 2.6% at Rs 668.

Gujarat Ambuja and Grasim are up 1.5% each at Rs 89 and Rs 1,442, respectively.

SBI, too, has advanced 1.5% to Rs 924.

HLL, Cipla and Tata Motors have gained 1% each.

Out of 2,251 stocks traded so far 1,309 have moved up 870 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
