The Sensex is now down 59 points at 15,153.
The NSE Nifty is down 17 points at 4,535.
ICICI Bank has shed 2.5% at Rs 720, and HDFC Bank has slipped 2% to Rs 1,238.
Maruti has dropped 2.3% to Rs 663. DLF and ONGC have declined 1.5% each to Rs 559 and Rs 1,072, respectively.
HDFC and Grasim are down 1.3% each to Rs 2,435 and Rs 2,047, respectively.
Sterlite has surged 2.6% to Rs 613. Tata Steel and Infosys have advanced over 1% each to Rs 615 and Rs 1,620, respectively.
