Sensex down 5pts; HDFC rallies 3%

The Sensex is now down five points at 11,140.

HDFC has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 1,272. Cipla and Hindalco have surged over 2% each to Rs 237 and Rs 168, respectively.

Grasim has added 1.5% to Rs 2,180. ICICI Bank, ACC, Reliance Energy and Wipro are up 1% each at Rs 597, Rs 877, Rs 473 and Rs 511, respectively.

ONGC has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,187. Bajaj Auto has slipped over 1% to Rs 2,652.

Out of 2,291 stocks traded so far, 1,376 have advanced, 837 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
