Sensex down 5pts; tech stocks slip

The Sensex is now down five points at 14,075.

Grasim, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank have advanced over 1% each to Rs 2,405, Rs 1,100 and Rs 927, respectively.

HLL is up nearly 1% at Rs 189.

Technology stocks have weakened in mid-morning trades. TCS has shed 1.7% to Rs 1,147. Infosys and Satyam have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 1,957 and Rs 470, respectively. Wipro is down nearly 1% at Rs 518.

Hindalco has dropped 1.4% to Rs 160.
