Sensex down 61pts; Grasim slips 2%

The Sensex opened almost flat at 10,738, down six points. The index touched a low of 10,665, and is now down 61 points at 10,683.

Grasim has shed 2% to Rs 2,036. Maruti and SBI have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 774 and Rs 798, respectively.

Wipro, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Satyam, Gujarat Ambuja, Larsen & Toubro and ITC are down over 1% each.

Ranbaxy is up nearly 1% at Rs 377.
