Sensex down 61pts; ONGC, TCS slip 2%

The Sensex is now down 61 points at 19,970.

ONGC and TCS have plunged nearly 2% each to Rs 1,215 and Rs 1,025, respectively.

Hindalco, HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 210, Rs 1,708 and Rs 751, respectively.

BHEL, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto are the other prominent losers.

ITC and Cipla have gained 1.7% each at Rs 204 and Rs 213, respectively.

Ambuja Cements and Tata Steel advanced 1% each to Rs 151 and Rs 886, respectively.
