Sensex down 62 pts

The Sensex has declined 62 points to 8,479.

Infosys has slipped Rs 34 to Rs 2,650. While TCS is down Rs 4 at Rs 1,464, Wipro has lost Rs 7 to Rs 392.

ONGC has dropped 1.7% (Rs 18) to Rs 1,036. Reliance is down Rs 6 at Rs 782, and SBI is down a rupee at Rs 936. ITC is steady at Rs 130 - up Rs 2.

Ranbaxy is steady at Rs 456 - down Rs 33 (6.8%). Dr. Reddy's is also steady at Rs 900 - down Rs 37 (4%).

Tata Steel has declined 3% (Rs 13) to Rs 381. L&T and NTPC are also weak.

BHEL is still up Rs 15 at Rs 1,189. HDFC is up Rs 7 at Rs 999.

Punjab Tractors has added 4% to Rs 205. Hexaware is up 3% at Rs 116. Pfizer has gained 3% to Rs 827.

Advances and declines are evenly matched - out of 2,390 scrips traded till now, 1,254 have declined, 1070 have advanced and 66 are unchanged.
