Sensex down 62pts; HLL slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 62 points at 12,392.

HDFC and Ranbaxy have shed 2.5% each to Rs 1,496 and Rs 429, respectively. HLL has dropped 1.7% to Rs 252.

Cipla, Larsen & Toubro and Wipro have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 258, Rs 1,255 and Rs 518, respectively. Infosys is down over 1% to Rs 1,826.

Bajaj Auto has gained 1.5% at Rs 3,045. Reliance Energy is up 1% at Rs 488.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,377 stocks traded so far, 1,370 have advanced, 935 have declined and 72 are unchanged.
