Sensex down 65pts; Grasim, HLL, HDFC slip 2%

The Sensex is now down 65 points at 12,863.

BHEL has surged 2% to Rs 2,465. Satyam has gained 1.6% at Rs 443.

HLL, Grasim and HDFC have dropped over 2% each to Rs 232, Rs 2,615 and Rs 1,515, respectively.

Infosys, TCS and NTPC have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 2,066, Rs 1,114 and Rs 129, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors are down around 1% each at Rs 1,291 and Rs 899, respectively.

Out of 2,380 stocks traded so far, 1,493 have declined, 816 have advanced and 71 are unchanged.
