Sensex down 65pts; ONGC, L&T drop

The Sensex is now down 65 points at 15,225.

Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro have shed 2.7% each to Rs 174 and Rs 2,329, respectively.

ONGC and Maruti have plunged 1.7% each to Rs 892 and Rs 814, respectively. Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 737 and Rs 664, respectively.

Satyam and Ambuja Cements have slipped 1% each to Rs 483 and Rs 136, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel are up around 1% each at Rs 2,241 and Rs 871, respectively.

Out of 2,618 stocks traded so far, 1,486 have declined, 1,047 have advanced and 85 are unchanged.
