Sensex down 65pts; TCS, Infosys slip 2%

The Sensex is now down 65 points at 15,531.

TCS and Infosys have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 1,027 and Rs 1,837, respectively. Satyam and Wipro have shed around 1.5% each to Rs 435 and Rs 460, respectively.

Ambuja Cements, Tata Motors and Maruti have slipped around 1.3% each to Rs 143, Rs 694 and Rs 865, respectively.

SBI, Dr.Reddy's and ICICI Bank are down over 1% each at Rs 1,621, Rs 652 and Rs 902, respectively.

Tata Steel has surged 2% to Rs 707. HDFC has advanced 1.3% to Rs 2,130.

The market breadth is almost even - out of 2,753 stocks traded so far, 1,347 have advanced, 1,346 have declined and 60 are unchanged.
