Sensex down 67pts; HDFC drops 3%

The Sensex is now down 67 points at 13,333.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,050, and Larsen & Toubro has added 1.3% to Rs 1,455.

Maruti is up 1% at Rs 916. Dr.Reddy's and ICICI Bank are the other prominent gainers.

HDFC has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 1,500. Reliance Energy has slipped 2.3% to Rs 514.

HLL has shed nearly 2% to Rs 225. BHEL and ONGC have plunged 1.7% each to Rs 2,490 and Rs 821, respectively.

Hero Honda has declined 1.3% to Rs 729. SBI, Hindalco, ITC and TCS are down over 1% each.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,397 stocks traded so far, 1,175 have declined, 1,142 have advanced and 80 are unchanged.
