Sensex down 67pts; L&T drops 4%

The Sensex is now down 67 points at 13,092.

Larsen & Toubro has shed 3.6% to Rs 1,485. ITC has tumbled over 3% to Rs 167.

HDFC Bank has plunged 2.7% to Rs 954. TCS, Wipro and Cipla have dropped over 1.5% each to Rs 1,234, Rs 580 and Rs 227, respectively.

Reliance, Reliance Communications and ICICI Bank are down over 1% each to Rs 1,350, Rs 423 and Rs 846, respectively.

Hero Honda have surged 3.7% to Rs 692. HDFC has rallied over 3% to Rs 1,557.

Hindalco, HLL and Bajaj Auto have advanced around 2% each to Rs 140, Rs 180 and Rs 2,571, respectively.

Ranbaxy has gained 1.5% at Rs 349. Grasim is up over 1% at Rs 2,180.

Out of 2,539 stocks traded so far, 1,393 have advanced, 1,074 have declined and 72 are unchanged.
