Sensex down 67pts; Ranbaxy gains 3%

 Ranbaxy has surged 2.5% to Rs 358. Tata Motors has rallied 2% to Rs 758.

ACC and HDFC Bank have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 830 and Rs 1,029, respectively. HDFC was up over 1% to Rs 1,730.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,154 stocks traded so far, 1,171 have advanced, 909 have declined and 74 are unchanged.
