Sensex down 68pts; Satyam plunges 4%

The Sensex is now down 68 points at 14,015.

Satyam has plunged over 4% to Rs 476. Reliance Communications has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 491, and Hindalco has shed 2.6% to Rs 157.

Dr.Reddy's, HDFC Bank, SBI and Maruti have slipped around 2% each to Rs 612, Rs 1,078, Rs 1,314 and Rs 720, respectively.

Tata Motors has dropped 1.8% to Rs 640. Cipla and NTPC are the other major losers.

ACC has surged 2% to Rs 780.

Out of 2,514 stocks traded so far, 1,826 have declined, 615 have advanced and 73 are unchanged.
