Sensex down 70pts; HDFC Bank down 2%

The Sensex is now down 70 points at 11,336.

HDFC Bank has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 838. Grasim and Satyam have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 2,162 and Rs 791, respectively.

Reliance Communications, BHEL, ICICI Bank and ONGC are down over 1% each to Rs 287, Rs 2,221, Rs 583 and Rs 1,187, respectively.

Hero Honda has gained 1.5% at Rs 710.

Out of 2,009 stocks traded so far, 1,250 have declined, 706 have advanced and the rest are unchanged today.
