Sensex down 70pts; ONGC slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 70 points at 13,580.

Hero Honda has dropped 3.7% to Rs 680. Bajaj Auto has tumbled 3% to Rs 2,731, and ICICI Bank has slipped 2.3% to Rs 885.

ONGC has plunged 2% to Rs 819. Tata Motors, Satyam and Wipro have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 826, Rs 454 and Rs 605, respectively.

Hindalco, SBI and ITC are down over 1% each to Rs 144, Rs 1,076 and Rs 169, respectively.

Grasim and ACC are up 1% each at Rs 2,365 and Rs 955, respectively.

Out of 2,419 stocks traded so far, 1,473 have moved up, 874 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
