Sensex down 70pts; REL rallies 3%

The Sensex is now down 70 points at 13,902.

ONGC and Tata Motors have slipped over 2% each to Rs 843 and Rs 874, respectively.

HLL has shed 1.7% to Rs 236, and Bajaj Auto has declined 1.5% to Rs 2,665.

Satyam, Wipro, Hindalco, TCS, Reliance and HDFC are down 1% each to Rs 461, Rs 579, Rs 182, Rs 1,181, Rs 1,288 and Rs 1,550, respectively.

Reliance Energy (REL) has soared 3% to Rs 559. Grasim and NTPC are up 1% each at Rs 2,777 and Rs 153, respectively.

Out of 2,512 stocks traded so far, 1,337 have declined, 1,108 have advanced and 67 are unchanged.
