Sensex down 71pts; Infosys, Bharti weak

The Sensex is now down 71 points at 14,848.

Infosys and Bharti Airtel have shed 1.4% each to Rs 1,855 and Rs 863, respectively.

ICICI Bank and NTPC are down 1% each at Rs 852 and Rs 166, respectively.

Tata Steel has soared 6% to Rs 643. ONGC, Bajaj Auto and Grasim have gained 1.3% each at Rs 820, Rs 2,324 and Rs 2,900, respectively.

The market breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,459 stocks traded so far, 1,264 have advanced, 1,125 have declined and 70 are unchanged.
