Sensex down 71pts; L&T, BHEL move up

The Sensex is now down 71 points at 10,673.

Hindalco and Reliance Communications have dropped 3% each to Rs 157 and Rs 255, respectively.

Cipla, HDFC Bank, Hero Honda and Tata Motors have slipped around 2% each to Rs 231, Rs 780, Rs 692 and Rs 727, respectively.

SBI and Ranbaxy are down 1.5% each to Rs 797 and Rs 368, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and BHEL have advanced 1.4% each to Rs 2,240 and Rs 2,073, respectively.

Out of 2,317 stocks traded so far, 1,354 have declined, 883 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
