Sensex down 71pts; Wipro slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 71 points at 10,796.

Wipro has dropped 2% to Rs 497. Bharti Airtel, Hero Honda and Maruti have shed 1.4% each to Rs 395, Rs 679 and Rs 773, respectively.

Reliance Communications, SBI, TCS and Dr.Reddy's are down 1% each to Rs 266, Rs 799, Rs 940 and Rs 1,413, respectively.

BHEL is up over 1% at Rs 2,175. Reliance Energy, HLL and NTPC are the only other gainers among the index stocks.
