Sensex down 72pts; Hindalco, ITC weak

The Sensex is now down 72 points at 12,665.

Hindalco and ITC have dropped nearly 2% to Rs 184 and Rs 185, respectively.

Satyam and TCS are down 1.6% each to Rs 423 and Rs 1,076, respectively.

Wipro, Infosys, HLL and Ranbaxy are the other major gainers.

Bajaj Auto has gained 1.5% at Rs 2,803.

Out of 2,127 stocks traded so far, 1,271 have declined, 800 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
