Sensex down 73pts; tech stocks drag

The Sensex is now down 73 points at 13,104.

Satyam has tumbled nearly 4% to Rs 444. Wipro has shed 2.5% to Rs 548, Infosys has slipped 2% to Rs 2,002.

Dr.Reddy's, SBI and NTPC have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 718, Rs 973 and Rs 157, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Cipla, Larsen & Toubro and ICICI Bank are down over 1% each to Rs 2,265, Rs 232, Rs 1,577 and Rs 845, respectively.

HLL, Tata Motors and ITC have surged around 2% each to Rs 208, Rs 717 and Rs 158, respectively.

HDFC and Gujarat Ambuja have advanced 1.4% each to Rs 1,577 and Rs 110, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,477 stocks traded so far, 1,410 have advanced, 1,001 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
