Sensex down 74 pts, ACC declines 2%

The Sensex has slipped 74 points to 6,471.

Infosys is steady at Rs 2,136 - down 2.4% (Rs 51). Satyam is also steady at Rs 412 - down Rs 11. Wipro has declined Rs 12 to Rs 668.

ITC has moved up 1.1% (Rs 15) to Rs 1,389. Reliance is moving in a narrow range, and is down 1.9% (Rs 11) at Rs 555. ONGC is now down a per cent (Rs 9) at Rs 884.

ACC has dropped 1.8% (Rs 6) to Rs 357. Grasim is also down 2% (Rs 26) at Rs 1,196. Gujarat Ambuja is down a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 405.

BHEL is now down 2.6% (Rs 20) at Rs 770. HDFC Bank is still down 3% (Rs 18) at Rs 544.

Bajaj and Bharti are trading with steady gains at Rs 1,050 and Rs 212, respectively.
