Sensex down 746pts; DLF slumps 15%

The Sensex is now down 746 points at 15,382.

The NSE Nifty is down 242 points at 4,630.

DLF has slumped 14.7% to Rs 608. Hindalco has plunged 9.7% to Rs 173, and Reliance Energy has tumbled 9% to Rs 1,209.

Tata Steel has shed 7.7% at Rs 700. BHEL and Wipro have slipped 7% each to Rs 1,875 and Rs 363, respectively.

Reliance Communications has dropped 6.5% to Rs 504. SBI and Reliance are down nearly 6% each at Rs 1,700 and Rs 2,237, respectively.

Out of 2,687 stocks traded so far, 2,365 have declined, 292 have advanced and 30 are unchanged.
