Sensex down 74pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now down 74 points at 13,234.

ACC and Grasim have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 2,132, and Gujarat Ambuja has advanced over 1% to Rs 109.

Ranbaxy, Bharti Airtel and Dr.Reddy's are up nearly 1% each at Rs 336, Rs 788 and Rs 688, respectively.

ITC has shed 2.7% to Rs 145. HDFC Bank has slipped 2% to Rs 1,003, and ICICI Bank has declined 1.6% to Rs 885.

Satyam and Infosys are down over 1% each at Rs 461 and Rs 2,094, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,078 stocks traded so far, 1,106 have declined, 897 have advanced and 75 are unchanged.
