Sensex down 75pts; HLL, SBI slip 2%

The Sensex is now down 75 at 14,137.

Tata Steel has plunged 8.4% (Rs 43) to Rs 476. HLL and SBI have shed nearly 2% each to Rs 210 and Rs 1,135, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped 1.6% to Rs 178. Dr.Reddy's, Wipro, Tata Motors and ACC are down around 1% each at Rs 744, Rs 624, Rs 891 and Rs 1,035, respectively.

Reliance Energy has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 520. Gujarat Ambuja has flared up over 2% to Rs 138.

Out of 2,508 stocks traded so far, 1,392 have declined, 1,057 have advanced and 59 are unchanged.
