Sensex down 78pts; ITC zooms 6%

The Sensex is now down 78 points at 15,716.

Ambuja Cements has plunged 5.5% to Rs 127. ACC has slumped nearly 4% to Rs 1,075. Grasim has shed 2% at Rs 2,960.

Satyam and HDFC Bank have declined over 2.5% each to Rs 504 and Rs 1,220, respectively.

ITC has soared 5.5% to Rs 161. Reliance Energy and Hindustan Unilever have surged 1.7% each to Rs 788 and Rs 203, respectively.

ONGC and NTPC are up around 1% each at Rs 925 and Rs 165, respectively.
