Sensex down 7pts; Infosys, SBI weak

 ACC has surged nearly 2% to Rs 879. Tata Steel has gained 1.5% at Rs 561.

Grasim, Ranbaxy, ICICI Bank and Reliance Communications are up around 1% each at Rs 2,500, Rs 394, Rs 853 and Rs 471, respectively.

Out of 2,510 stocks traded so far, 1,395 have declined, 1,019 have advanced and 96 are unchanged.
