Sensex down 80pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now down 80 points at 13,319.

HDFC Bank has advanced over 1% to Rs 1,046. Larsen & Toubro and Maruti are the other prominent gainers.

Reliance Energy and HDFC have dropped around 3% each to Rs 509 and Rs 1,500, respectively. BHEL has shed 2.5% to Rs 2,470.

HLL, ONGC and Hero Hodna have slipped around 2% each to Rs 224, Rs 820 and Rs 726, respectively.

SBI has declined 1.5% to Rs 1,224. Reliance Communications, TCS and ITC are down over 1% each.

Out of 2,439 stocks traded so far, 1,365 have declined, 1,003 have advanced and 71 are unchanged.
