Sensex down 80pts; Reliance, ONGC move up

The Sensex is now down 80 points at 13,915.

Ranbaxy has slumped 5% to Rs 330. DLF has plunged 4.6% to Rs 402, and Jaiprakash Associates has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 126.

Wipro and Bharti Airtel have shed nearly 3% each at Rs 402 and Rs 786, respectively.

Satyam and ICICI Bank have slipped over 2% each to Rs 344 and Rs 621, respectively.

HDFC, BHEL and Infosys, too, have dropped around 2% each to Rs 2,280, Rs 1,652 and Rs 1,597, respectively.

HDFC Bank has declined 1.7% to Rs 1,275, and Tata Steel is down 1.5% at Rs 487.

 

Reliance and Tata Power have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 2,068 and Rs 1,036, respectively.

Sterlite and ONGC are up over 1% each at Rs 466 and Rs 1,069, respectively.
