Sensex down 81pts; Dr.Reddy's drops 3%

The Sensex is now down 81 points at 14,129.

Bharti Airtel has rallied 2.3% to Rs 692. Ranbaxy and Reliance Energy have moved up 1% each to Rs 408 and Rs 511, respectively.

ACC has plunged over 4% to Rs 1,070. Grasim has shed 2.6% to Rs 2,819, and Gujarat Ambuja has slipped over 2% to Rs 144.

Dr.Reddy's has dropped 3% to Rs 786. Maruti, ITC and Infosys have declined over 1% each to Rs 927, Rs 177 and Rs 2,230, respectively.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hero Honda and Satyam are the other major losers.

Out of 2,365 stocks traded so far, 1,226 have declined, 1,082 have advanced and 57 are unchanged.
