Sensex down 81pts; Wipro slips 3%

The Sensex is now down 81 points at 14,137.

Satyam has shed 5.5% to Rs 486. Wipro has tumbled over 3% to Rs 621.

Ranbaxy has plunged 2.8% to Rs 418. Tata Steel, Cipla, Reliance Energy and Tata Motors have declined around 2% each to Rs 465, Rs 253, Rs 518 and Rs 935, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and ONGC are down around 1.5% each at Rs 1,560 and Rs 903, respectively.

ITC has gained 1.5% at Rs 175. ACC and Reliance are up 1% each at Rs 1,107 and Rs 1,381, respectively.

Out of 2,523 stocks traded so far, 1,604 have declined, 872 have advanced and 47 are unchanged.
