Sensex down 86pts; Wipro, HLL weak

The Sensex is now down 86 points at 13,887.

ONGC has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 845. Wipro, HLL and Tata Motors have shed 1.5% each to Rs 576, Rs 237 and Rs 879, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Satyam, Hindalco, Reliance, ITC and HDFC are down over 1% each to Rs 2,671, Rs 461, Rs 181, Rs 1,286, Rs 185 and Rs 1,551, respectively.

Reliance Energy (REL) has soared 3.7% to Rs 562. Grasim has moved up 1.3% to Rs 2,784.

NTPC and Gujarat Ambuja are the other prominent gainers.

Out of 2,551 stocks traded so far, 1,292 have declined, 1,190 have advanced and 69 are unchanged.
