Sensex down 87pts

The Sensex is moving in a narrow range, and is still down 87 points at 8,908.

BHEL has dropped over 2% (Rs 34) at Rs 1,434. L&T is still down over 2% (Rs 39) at Rs 1,675.

HLL is still down Rs 4 at Rs 188. Maruti has dropped Rs 13 to Rs 619.

Infosys has declined Rs 29 to Rs 2,726. TCS, Satyam and wipro are also trading with losses.

Reliance Energy is up 1.8% (Rs 10) at Rs 587.

Ranbaxy is up 1.7% (Rs 6) at Rs 386. Cipla and Dr. Reddy's are also trading with gains.

Declines are ahead of advances - out of 2,397 scrips traded till now, 1,682 have dropped, 661 have moved up and 54 are unchanged.

Oil PSU scrips are trading with gains. IBP has advanced 4.6% (Rs 25) to Rs 577. Gail is up Rs 10 at Rs 270. HPCL and IOC are also trading with gains.
