Sensex down 89pts; Bharti, Cipla up

The Sensex is now down 89 points at 19,887.

ONGC has shed 2.7% at Rs 1,329. Satyam has slipped 2% to Rs 453.

ITC and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 172 and Rs 742, respectively.

Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 743, Rs 1,310 and Rs 1,733, respectively.

Grasim, Bajaj Auto, HDFC, Infosys and Dr.Reddy's are down over 1% each to Rs 3,700, Rs 2,395, Rs 2,623, Rs 1,888 and Rs 609, respectively.

Cipla has soared 3% to Rs 179. Bharti Airtel has surged 2.4% to Rs 916.

NTPC has moved up 1.8% to Rs 239. Hindalco has added 1.5% to Rs 190.

Reliance Communications and Larsen & Toubro are up 1% each at Rs 795 and Rs 4,504, respectively.
