Sensex down 89pts; BHEL, SBI move up

The Sensex is now down 89 points at 19,158.

Bharti Airtel has plunged over 3% to Rs 918. ICICI Bank has tumbled over 2% to Rs 1,133.

Maruti has slipped 1.8% to Rs 935. ACC, NTPC and Reliance Energy have shed 1.5% each at Rs 1,112, Rs 235 and Rs 1,764, respectively.

Reliance and Hindalco are down 1.2% each at Rs 2,848 and Rs 192, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has rallied 2% to Rs 2,640. BHEL has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,649.

SBI has advanced 1.4% to Rs 2,274, and Tata Motors has added 1.2% to Rs 719.

Out of 2,764 stocks traded so far, 1,442 have declined, 1,252 have advanced and 70 are unchanged.
