Sensex down 8pts, cement scrips log gains

 HDFC, which had gained over 3% yesterday, is down a per cent (Rs 8) at Rs 863.

Infosys has declined Rs 17 to Rs 2,374. Reliance has dropped Rs 4 to Rs 651. ONGC, HLL and ITC are also trading on a weak note.

Reliance Energy has moved up Rs 12 to Rs 664.
