Sensex down 92pts; Wipro, HDFC gain 2%

The Sensex has recovered partially from the day's low of 20,701, and is now down 92 points at 20,781.

Wipro and HDFC have surged nearly 2% each to Rs 497 and Rs 3,120.

Satyam and NTPC have rallied over 1.5% each to Rs 431 and Rs 269, respectively.

Infosys has advanced 1% to Rs 1,679.

ICICI Bank has plunged over 3% to Rs 1,292.

Tata Motors and ACC have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 755 and Rs 962, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has tumbled 2% to Rs 955, and Grasim has slipped 1.8% to Rs 3,340.

BHEL has declined 1.5% to Rs 2,458, and Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 1.3% at Rs 819.

Hindustan Unilever, DLF and ONGC are down around 1% each at Rs 232, Rs 1,139 and Rs 1,309, respectively.
