Sensex down 94pts; Cipla up 2%

The Sensex is now down 94 points at 12,603.

Gujarat Ambuja has plunged over 6% to Rs 107, and ACC has dropped 4.4% to Rs 817.

Wipro has shed 4.8% at Rs 553. Bajaj Auto, TCS, Tata Steel and Infosys have slipped around 2% each to Rs 2,420, Rs 1,175, Rs 411 and Rs 2,077, respectively.

Maruti, ITC and Satyam have declined 1.7% each to Rs 776, Rs 159 and Rs 427, respectively.

Cipla has moved up 2.3% to Rs 227. Larsen & Toubro and Dr.Reddy's have gained around 1% each at Rs 1,447 and Rs 628, respectively.

Out of 2,427 stocks traded so far, 1,731 have declined, 625 have advanced and 71 are unchanged.
