Sensex down 94pts; HLL slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 94 points at 14,115.

ACC has plunged 5.3% to Rs 1,056. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 3.2% to Rs 142, and Grasim has shed 2% to Rs 2,834.

Dr.Reddy's has tumbled 4% to Rs 777. SBI has declined 3.5% to Rs 1,182.

HLL has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 220. HDFC Bank has slipped 1.7% to Rs 1,038.

Maruti, ICICI Bank and Hero Honda are down over 1% each to Rs 927, Rs 965 and Rs 716, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has advanced 2.2% to Rs 692.

Out of 2,573 stocks traded so far, 1,481 have declined, 1,041 have advanced and 51 are unchanged.
