Sensex down 94pts; market breadth negative

The Sensex is now down 94 points at 11,312.

HDFC Bank and Satyam have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 838 and Rs 788, respectively.

Reliance Communications and ICICI Bank have shed 1.5% each to Rs 286 and Rs 582, respectively. Grasim is down 1.3% at Rs 2,163.

BHEL, ONGC and HDFC have declined over 1% each to Rs 2,221, Rs 1,186 and Rs 1,265, respectively.

Hero Honda is up 1.2% at Rs 709. SBI is the only other stock in green.

The market breadth is fairly negative - out of 1,886 stocks traded so far, 1,230 have declined, 608 have advanced and 48 are unchanged today.
