Sensex down 95pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now down 95 points at 19,882.

Maruti has plunged 5.5% to Rs 1,122, and Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 5% at Rs 757.

HDFC, ACC and Tata Motors have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 2,774, Rs 1,067 and Rs 797, respectively.

Ranbaxy, TCS, Cipla, Hindustan Unilever and Reliance are down 1% each at Rs 418, Rs 1,056, Rs 182, Rs 218 and Rs 2,800, respectively.

Reliance Energy and BHEL have surged 3.5% each to Rs 1,783 and Rs 2,705, respectively.

ONGC has gained 1.8% at Rs 1,261, and Larsen & Toubro has added 1.5% to Rs 4,345.

HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel are up 1% each at Rs 1,654 and Rs 1,003, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,640 stocks traded so far, 1,446 have declined, 1,129 have advanced and 65 are unchanged.
