Sensex down 97pts

The Sensex is now down 97 points at 10,833.

Grasim has surged over 2% to Rs 2,042. HLL has added 1.8% to Rs 242, and ICICI Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 495.

Bharti Airtel has dropped 3.3% to Rs 370. Wipro has shed 2.6% to Rs 503.

Larsen & Toubro, Hero Honda, TCS and Reliance have slipped over 2% each to Rs 2,210, Rs 710, Rs 1,855 and Rs 1,077, respectively.

HDFC, Tata Motors and BHEL are the other prominent losers.

Out of 2,367 stocks traded so far, 1,162 have advanced, 1,110 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
