Sensex down 97pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now down 97 points at 13,470.

Bajaj Auto has advanced over 1% to Rs 2,745. Reliance Communications and Tata Steel are the other prominent gainers.

ONGC has shed 3% to Rs 891. HDFC has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 1,532.

Satyam and Wipro have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 460 and Rs 571, respectively.

BHEL, Dr.Reddy's, TCS, Grasim, Larsen & Toubro and SBI are down over 1% each.

The market breadth is marginally negative - out of 2,219 stocks traded so far, 1,094 have declined, 1,060 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
