Sensex down nearly 640pts, RIL drops 6%

The Sensex is now down nearly 640 points (3.5%) at 17,500.

Reliance has plunged nearly 6% to Rs 24,10.

NTPC has slipped over 5% to Rs 205. RCom is down over 5% at Rs 643.

ICICI Bank has declined 3.5% to Rs 1,112. L&T is still down over 4% at Rs 3,627.

ITC has dropped nearly 5% to Rs 190. Bharti is down 4% at Rs 865.
